As a retailer we know how
important it is to offer different products to that shop 'just around
the corner'. It can be quite a tricky balancing act and so to help we
have introduced some guidelines to make it easier for one and all.
- Minimums : an opening
order of six bags ensures that the range is well represented within
your store, and creates a story which in turn creates sales for you.
Single item top ups and customer orders are available throughout the
season. In most instances you can have next day delivery if
required.
- Exclusivity : in order
to remain an exclusive stockist in a certain area an order must be
placed early each season, for the minimum quantity (6), and an
additional mid season order of (3) or more bags.
- Store Selection :
due to the nature of trade events
quite often we receive orders from stores we deem too near one
another during the same event . As a way of assisting us to make the
right choice for all involved we may ask for additional information
regarding your store, including photographs and a list of other
suppliers.
- Accounts/Payments : all
first orders placed are on pro-forma payment terms only. Longer term
accounts cannot be guaranteed and will be negotiated on an individual
basis. Oktoberdee prefers direct deposit or cheque payments. Visa and MasterCard
are also available with surcharge of 1.5% of invoice total, inc gst.
Product Delivery
We are very excited that the move
offshore has enabled us to have stock on hand at all times. This means
that when you place your order at the trade event, we can get it out to
you within days. Need a top up or a special order during the season? No
worries, we can have it out to you within two days. Hooray!
Packaging : You will receive your bags partially stuffed and enclosed
within a protective white cloth bag. The bags may also contain silica
satchels inside, you may remove them upon delivery as they are used to
protect the bags from moisture during transit.
Returns
We have a very thorough quality
check, however, please do look over your delivery as returns will only
be accepted within seven days of receiving, and only if the item is
faulty. Change of mind returns are not accepted. Please notify us if
your encounter an issue, prior to returning any goods.
Due to the nature of the materials
we use they may be some variation despite our efforts to best represent
the product. Leather will show variation in the colour, texture and
finish, these are characteristics which make leather products all the
more special, these are not considered faults.
Fabrics used on the external elements of the bags have been
hand-printed, you will notice pattern placement will change from bag to
bag, you may also notice print registration differences, these are
something that comes with the hand-made element and as such should be
warmly embraced as a part of the design.
Product Care
Leather needs to be loved, by waterproofing your bag with a leather
protector spray you will help to increase its longevity, the fabric
elements of the bag will also benefit.
You may also wish to nourish your leather bag occasionally with a
leather conditioner which acts like a moisturizer. A conditioner will
revive dull leather and renew suppleness, ensure you test a spot first
and be sure to follow the instructions on the product you use.
